The Welnexx Portable Digital Magnifier is built for spot reading — the quick, everyday text that traditional magnifiers and phone cameras make frustrating. It is designed to read prescription bottles, restaurant menus, mail, bills, and price tags in seconds. It is not designed for reading novels or newspapers cover to cover; the 3.5-inch screen is made for short bursts of text, not long-form reading. We say this plainly so you know exactly what you are buying.

The device turns on with one button and shows magnified text immediately — there is no setup, no menus to learn, and no app to install. This matters for older users who have struggled with smartphone magnifier apps or complicated devices in the past.

Freeze the screen to read without holding steady. Press the snapshot button to capture text, then set the device down and read the frozen, enlarged image at your own pace. This helps people with shaky hands or tremors who cannot hold a magnifier still over a pill bottle or label.

Eight high-contrast color modes make text easier to see for low vision caused by macular degeneration or glaucoma. Modes include black on white, white on black, blue on white, white on blue, yellow on blue, blue on yellow, and full color. White-on-black and yellow-on-blue reduce glare from bright paper that washes out text for many low vision readers.

The screen magnifies text from 2x up to 25x. Three large, raised physical buttons control magnify, color mode, and freeze — no touchscreen, so they can be felt and pressed without precise aim. Built-in LED lighting brightens dim restaurants, deep cabinets, and low-light rooms where small print disappears.

A foldable bracket on the back doubles as a stand, holding the magnifier at an angle on a table. This frees both hands to sign a check, fill out a form, or write underneath the device. It also lets you slide the magnifier smoothly across a page.

The magnifier is compact and lightweight enough to carry in a bag or large pocket, so it is available in the moment text needs to be read — at the pharmacy, the store, or the dinner table. A snapshot function saves images to a TF card (up to 32GB, not included) for later viewing, and AV output connects the device to a television for a larger display at home.

This is a low vision reading aid for everyday spot reading. It is not a medical device and does not treat, cure, or diagnose any eye condition. People with low vision should follow the guidance of their eye care professional.
