How to Set Up, Use and Return the Welnexx Knee Wrap

Charge the wrap first (about 2–3 hours over USB-C, according to the supplier listing), then sit in a steady chair, fasten it around your knee, start at the lowest of its 3 heat settings, 40 °C (104 °F), and look at your skin when you take it off. If it doesn't suit you, it can come back even after use, at no cost: of 11 seller return policies for comparable knee devices and pads we read in October 2026, none stated all three in writing: a window counted from delivery, acceptance of used items and seller-paid return postage.

Even if you've used it, you can return it within 45 days of delivery at no cost to you — if we need it back, we email you a prepaid US return label.

This is Welnexx's own setup and return guide for the wrap it sells.

The Welnexx Knee Routine pairs an NHS seated knee movement with heat used only after a skin-and-knee check and within the manual's limits, plus a weekly 30-second chair count, with someone beside you, kept as your own record.

What is in the box, and how do I charge it?

The box holds 1 device, 1 manual and 1 USB-A to USB-C cable. The wrap charges over USB-C (DC 5V 2A); the listing gives about 2–3 hours for the first charge and about 5–8 uses per charge from its 3000 mAh battery. These values are supplier listing statements captured on October 23, 2026, not our measurements.

Item Listing statement
Heat settings 3: 40/42/45 °C (104/108/113 °F)
Vibration settings 3: Auto/Low/High
Automatic stop 10-minute timer
Battery 3000 mAh; about 5–8 uses per charge
Charging USB-C, DC 5V 2A; first charge about 2–3 hours
In the box 1 device, 1 manual, 1 USB-A to USB-C cable
Strap length Not stated in the listings

The full listing table is on the product page.

How do I put it on and run a session?

Put it on and take it off sitting down, in the same chair:

  1. Sit in a steady chair with your feet flat on the floor.
  2. Fasten it around your knee, then check its position against the manual in the box.
  3. Start at the lowest heat setting. Keep the first session short.
  4. Take it off and look at your skin. Use a higher setting only as the manual allows.

These are general steps, not the manual's instructions. Read the manual in the box for times and button steps before your first use. The listing states a 10-minute automatic stop; that is a statement about the timer, not a safe contact time.

How does the Welnexx Knee Routine fit around a session?

It adds one step before the heat and one check each week, so the session sits inside a routine you can keep in your chair:

  1. Move first, seated. In a steady chair with back support, straighten one knee and hold it for 3 seconds; the NHS Bexley musculoskeletal service lists 10 repeats, 1–2 sets, on a page written for knee osteoarthritis, not for the meniscus. Ask a clinician which moves suit you.
  2. Check, then the lowest heat. No heat on a swollen knee, on broken skin or where feeling is reduced; start at 40 °C (104 °F).
  3. Look at your skin when you take it off, in the same chair.
  4. Count once a week. With someone beside you, count how many times you stand up fully from a chair in 30 seconds, arms crossed on your chest (the CDC's 30-second chair stand). If you need your arms, stop and write 0. It is your own record, not a measure of the wrap.

The full step-by-step version, with the sources for each step, is on what a seated knee wrap can and can't do.

How do I check the fit?

Fit is checked on your own knee, seated: the listings state no strap length, so the first try-on is the fit test. Fasten it, check its position against the manual, and check that you can unfasten it without standing up. If it does not fit, you can return it, even after trying it on.

What should I check if it doesn't work as expected?

Start with the check in the table; if that does not solve it, email us.

What happens First check
It does not switch on Charge it with the supplied USB-C cable; the listing gives about 2–3 hours for the first charge
It stops after a while The listing states a 10-minute automatic stop; this is the timer
The warmth feels uncomfortable Stop heat and take it off; check the manual before the next session, or stop using heat
It does not fit your knee The listings give no strap length; you can return it even after trying it on
Anything else Email contact@welnexx.com with your order number; we reply within 1 business day

When should heat not be used, and when is it time to call a clinician?

Safety check before every use

  • Do not use heat on a swollen knee, on broken or badly bruised skin, or where feeling is reduced (for example from diabetic nerve damage, poor circulation or numbness). Ask a clinician first. The US NIDDK warns that people with diabetic nerve damage can burn their feet without noticing.
  • Never use it while asleep.
  • Stop heat if the warmth feels uncomfortable, or if you see marked redness or new swelling.
  • Get prompt medical advice if the knee locks, gives way, swells markedly, cannot take weight, or hurts very badly. Get urgent care for a hot, red, swollen joint with fever.
  • Acute sports tears, the period after knee surgery and trauma are outside this guide: see a clinician.
